Task text and your name are encrypted on the device before they sync. Our server only ever sees the encrypted version.

What is Tododay?
Tododay is a minimalist daily to-do list app for Android. You keep one list for today and stage anything that can wait on a separate Tomorrow list. At midnight the day closes: finished tasks are logged as done, unfinished ones as missed, and Tomorrow becomes the new Today.
How is Tododay different from other to-do apps?
Most to-do apps keep one list that only ever grows. Tododay plans just one day: anything that can wait is staged for tomorrow, and at midnight the day closes and is logged exactly as it went. No projects, tags or due dates, just today and tomorrow.
What happens to unfinished tasks at midnight?
They are logged in History as missed, on the day they were missed, and do not roll forward on their own. If you prefer a second chance, the optional Carry over setting puts a copy of each missed task on the next day's list.
Is Tododay free?
Yes. Tododay is free on Google Play, with no ads and no tracking inside the app.
Is my to-do list private?
Yes. The text of every task and your display name are end-to-end encrypted on your phone before they are synced, and your password never leaves the device. The server only stores encrypted data it cannot read, plus the dates and statuses needed for syncing.
Does it sync and work offline?
Yes. Everything works offline and syncs when you are back online. Log in on another phone or tablet and your days are exactly as you left them.
Does Tododay have a home screen widget?
Yes. The Android widget shows today's list on your home screen, where you can check tasks off and set their priority without opening the app.
Can I add tasks without opening the app?
Yes. Long-press the Tododay icon for Add to Today or Add to Tomorrow, or share text from any app to Tododay. You see the text first and choose Today or Tomorrow before anything is added.
Does Tododay have a light mode?
Yes. Tododay is dark by default. Turn on Light mode in Me to switch that device to a light theme.
Is Tododay available for iPhone?
Not yet. Tododay is currently available for Android phones and tablets on Google Play.
What if I forget my password?
Reset it with a code sent to your email. Because your tasks are encrypted, keep the recovery key the app gives you: it lets you reset the password without losing your tasks.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. In the app, open Me, then Manage account, to export every task to a file or delete your account and all its data immediately.
